Seth is almost 2 months old

Hello Everyone,
On Friday Seth will be officially two months old, it's so crazy that he is that old already! We will also have another pediatrician appointment on Friday so we can see how much weight he has gained which is probably at least a pound. He's got some chubby thighs and double chins, we love our tubby baby!

He is the mayor of smiles town, each day he is smiling more and more and staying awake a lot longer which is really fun. He is responding to music more and we are having fun making up songs to sing to him among the favorites are "Baby Train", "Running a baby Marathon" and "Going to see Daddy", the album will drop next month : )

Seth is getting more control over his limbs so his movements are getting some control to them and his head control is crazy. He's not really rolling but his legs hold him up when he is leaning against something.

Last week when my mom was here for her visit, Seth got to meet all of his great aunts and uncles. Jeremy's Aunt Donna and Uncle Dave were awesome and let us use their house as the destination for the party and everyone bought food and it was an awesome time. Seth was so excited he had an explosive poo! It was a great party and everyone had a great time. Please enjoy all the new pictures!

I will post up his new stats after the doc visit on friday. I'll have to weigh Louie and see which one of them is heavier, I think Louie is winning that battle currently.

Seth is 6 weeks old!

Seth is 6 weeks today and we are celebrating with a "paralyzing snowstorm", that's Fox's words not mine.
He had his first round of immunizations, and has grown 3 inches and gained about a pound a half. So now he is 22 inches and 9.5 lbs. We have another doctors visit in two weeks and I'm pretty sure he has gained more weight, he's getting a little belly and some chubby thighs.
I had my postpartum visit and found out that I lost 30 lbs, and I'm only 10 lbs away from pre-baby weight, and then just like another 50 from my ideal weight ; ) The doctor gave me a clean bill of health, so I am all back to normal which is good.
Seth has started to smile, I will get a picture of one of those smiles one of these days. He has also started moving a lot! He climbs all over his dad and he's a maniac at tummy time. He can push off of our hands and scoot across his blanket. I'm pre registering him for Harvard next week, because this is all clearly signs of genius! Enjoy the baby pictures!

1 Month Old!!!

Seth is now 30 days old. In addition to be super duper cute, he can blow spit bubbles, smile a little and eat like a maniac. He is now weighing in at 8lbs. 8 oz and 20 inches, and is doing well. He is getting a little pot belly and his lungs work very well.

He had a big field trip to the King of Prussia of mall with his Grandma Lori and me on Sunday, we got to use his stroller. It looks really easy to steer those things, but they can be tricky : )

Seth's parents on the other hand are not doing so well, I called Mc Lovin , Mc Muffin the other day and it took Jeremy a half hour to change his profile pic on facebook and then another half hour to figure out where to put in his status message. We are officially parents, we can't remember characters from the popular kids movies and can't figure out social networking sites.

Tomorrow Seth will get start with his immunizations, so around 11ish we will have a very cranky baby : (
We heard today that he will be cranky for a few days after his shot so that does not sound too awesome.

9 days old

Seth turned 9 days old today! His birthday present is to not have to go to back to the hospital and get his jaundice checked it finally came down and is regular now. He is adjusting to life at home well, he cries, poops and is constantly adorable what more could we ask for! His baby noises are getting louder, and he almost smiles sometimes but i don't think he knows what it means yet. The countdown begins, Aristotle believed that babies do not have souls until they laugh and that this happens at 40 days. Seth has a soul but it will be interesting to see if he laughs before or after the 40 day mark. Here are some baby pictures! Will post more soon, requests have been made

26 weeks and counting.......

Hi,
Before i forget, Gramps (Lloyd) had a birthday on Sunday and Grandma Lori had a birthday the week before. Happy Birthday soon to be grandparents!!! There's a picture of Gramps awesome birthday shirt below.

so today I turned 26 weeks pregnant, if that's a thing. We found out a few weeks ago, we are having a Seth William David Lauder or we could just say a boy. The ultrasound went really well, he has a face which is weird, just cause I feel like I haven't done anything that important over the last six weeks and this guys in there growing a face. I've been growing also, so much that a strange man on the street was surprised that i wasn't 9 months pregnant with twins. Ah, strange men yelling about how big you are and comparing your size to their ex-wife, naturally I thanked him for his much appreciated opinion.(NOT)

Jeremy is doing well, we still look at each other every few days and say, oh crap were gonna be parents, which is still a funny thought. Jeremy has finally gotten to feel kicks from this guy, who apparently is practicing karate in there, where did he learn those moves?

We started registering which is so overwhelming, I don't think we are still quite done yet. Babies R Us was not as fun as I thought, staring at a wall of pacifers for twenty minutes does not equal party time. It was fun looking at things that are all small for babies, but all the choices are overwhelming. How did people function before there were five aisles of wipes? Below are some pictures we took, can you guess who's belly is who's ? Oh, and there are pictures of Seth.

oh, no I didn't just rob a little league soccer team of there ball, that's all Seth and that's all Jeremy and his very pale belly.

For Robert

I wanted to dedicate this post to my younger cousin Robert. We are blessed with family members that have a much better way with words than me so I wanted to re-post what my cousin Christina wrote on her blog, because I think it is much better than anything I could ever say.

Love,
j&j

Here is Christina's really eloquent post:
