26 weeks and counting.......

Hi,
Before i forget, Gramps (Lloyd) had a birthday on Sunday and Grandma Lori had a birthday the week before. Happy Birthday soon to be grandparents!!! There's a picture of Gramps awesome birthday shirt below.

so today I turned 26 weeks pregnant, if that's a thing. We found out a few weeks ago, we are having a Seth William David Lauder or we could just say a boy. The ultrasound went really well, he has a face which is weird, just cause I feel like I haven't done anything that important over the last six weeks and this guys in there growing a face. I've been growing also, so much that a strange man on the street was surprised that i wasn't 9 months pregnant with twins. Ah, strange men yelling about how big you are and comparing your size to their ex-wife, naturally I thanked him for his much appreciated opinion.(NOT)

Jeremy is doing well, we still look at each other every few days and say, oh crap were gonna be parents, which is still a funny thought. Jeremy has finally gotten to feel kicks from this guy, who apparently is practicing karate in there, where did he learn those moves?

We started registering which is so overwhelming, I don't think we are still quite done yet. Babies R Us was not as fun as I thought, staring at a wall of pacifers for twenty minutes does not equal party time. It was fun looking at things that are all small for babies, but all the choices are overwhelming. How did people function before there were five aisles of wipes? Below are some pictures we took, can you guess who's belly is who's ? Oh, and there are pictures of Seth.

oh, no I didn't just rob a little league soccer team of there ball, that's all Seth and that's all Jeremy and his very pale belly.

For Robert

I wanted to dedicate this post to my younger cousin Robert. We are blessed with family members that have a much better way with words than me so I wanted to re-post what my cousin Christina wrote on her blog, because I think it is much better than anything I could ever say.

Love,
j&j

Here is Christina's really eloquent post:

Texas, Pennsylvania and Canada

, first I have to dust off all the cobwebs on this blog it's gotten very dusty lately.

Okay now that I got all of that cleared away. I will catch everybody up on the adventures of 1.5 Lauders and a Simpson.

I went for a visit to the Lone Star State, to see my Momma, Boofie, Aunt Margaret, Trey and Christina and I got to fall in love with Christina 's nephew John Patrick. I think I should see a baby every few days, it makes me feel better about being fat and having swollen ankles and having to go to the bathroom all the time. Texas was great, I got way too spoiled but I can't argue with a grandmother to be and a great grandmother to be. We ate sugar free ice cream every night and twice we got ice cream twice in one day, it was a great visit, lots of relaxing and the best part was I got to be there when my Mom got her new job offer! She has been there for over a week now and loves it, so congratulations MEMA!

So after Texas I was back in PA with my main man, the one and only J.Lauder, who by the way totally shaved his beard off and got a nice haircut. there are rumors circulating of some sort of beard tribute in the works. Right after I got back from TX and Jeremy picked himself off the couch where he stayed all week because he couldn't live without me (NOT!!!), he totally worked his butt off the whole time I was gone.

Then I came back from for a week and was whisked away to Fergus, Ontario! I spent a week with Tricia, Keith and Kalie while Jeremy built houses in Owens - Sound, Ontario. We went to Niagara Falls, the Scottish Festival , the greatest buffet ever and much more. Canada was nice and cool it was refreshing not being in oppressive heat for a week. Jeremy and I took a side trip to Toronto and had an awesome time. I totally recommend the Royal Ontario Museum.

Now this weekend, I am going with Liddy to Western Mass. to babysit her niece for a couple of days. We will be riding in style in her new Volkswagen Passat.

I will be posting pictures on facebook of our travels. That's it for the blog now.

Oh, and a big congratulations to Crissy and Jon on their new baby Tyler! Bridget, Liddy and I got to meet him last night and he is quite the ladies man. Very cute and smells very nice.

bye, talk to everyone later. Stay tuned we get a second trimester ultrasound in a few weeks.

Monster Sandwiches and Pillows and maybe a beard

Hello Everybody,

Hope everyone is doing well out there. We have been busy, we started classes, went to Vermont and somehow worked our way through the first trimester. Tomorrow the baby will be 14 weeks old. If science is right then all the morning sickness means the baby will be smart and if my heartburn is any indicator the baby will have a full head of hair to cover that egg head.

Earlier this week Jeremy and I went to Vermont to pick up some equipment that will really help the business. It's a one color automatic press that will really help us be able to print on new and exciting things. But the best part of Vermont was the Red Onion and their sandwiches, please enjoy the pictures below of said sandwich.

This is what Jeremy looked like after his sandwich, I think it made his beard grow more.

Jeremy has started teaching a screen printing class here at our studios and I started a sewing class and I made a pillow. I will attempt at some point to make baby clothes. Here is my pillow:

Lastly, we have a few birthdays, Uncle Josh was June 27th, Aunt Melanie is today July 2nd and Poppa Jeremy is July 7th and then Auntie Liddy is on July 16th! So lots of birthdays.

Well, goodbye and if it's your birthday Happy Birthday.

Denied Medicaid but there is still dancing

Hey everyone,

Hope you are all doing well, we are one day away from being in our 12th week, which would make us 3 months pregnant. So that is neat, and it also makes us one week away from the much coveted 2nd trimester, I have heard tales that it's often called the honeymoon trimester, one can hope.

So, we got disappointing news the other day, we were denied Medicaid, because we are so wealthy. But we have a plan b and it's called Health Center #2, they will continue to treat us at no costs and we will continue with our pre-natal appointments as planned. From what I understand when we go to give birth they will file an emergency application for Medicaid to cover the birth and the baby. We have to get more information on that part. Once the baby is here they will be covered by my insurance plan which does not include pre-natal. Okay enough of that.

Now for the fun stuff, we found a mix tape that is one part Phil Collins and one part Prince. So that made up for not getting medicaid.

Enjoy our pictures below which include the afore mentioned mother of all mix tapes, a beard , and two bellies.

So in closing, we will post again soon.

I flew to close to the sun

So for two days I didn't get sick and I think I got too arrogant, because it came back yesterday and today. But I'm feeling better after a long nap today.

I'm going to turn the internet off for awhile, because I keep finding these articles that make me cry a lot, and I should just stop reading things. At this point Career Builder makes me cry. Okay now typing the word makes me want to cry, so I hope everyone had a great weekend.

Baby Pics and Important Announcements

Hello Everyone!

Look it's a baby!

The baby is a dancer, it did the robot and the moonwalk when we saw it earlier today it was adorable.

So we are 2 months and 1 week along. So that makes the baby the size of a green olive, so it's like having the makings of a martini in my belly.

Announcement one : The heartbeat is 168 which is good and the dr. at the sonogram said the baby looked healthy.

Announcement two: I have a nice pelvic bone which is good for child birth, so yay for us!

Announcement three: mustard and meatball sandwich is amazing! Today was my first real craving and I think it's marking the end of feeling nauseous, I think morning sickness is close to being a thing of the past!

So that is our update for the day, next Dr. appointment is July 7th, we thought it would be a nice way to celebrate Jeremy's birthday.

1st Doctor's Visit

We had our first doctors visit today. It was not very fun at all, there was a mix up with my blood. Apparently the last time I gave blood there was a girl named Jessica Simmons there and they labeled it as her blood, so I had to give more blood. That was the most exiciting part of the visit. The doctor poked me and I had to give them more pee. Tomorrow should be more fun, we will get a sonogram and find out how old the fat baby is. So we will know what piece of fruit to compare it to it. That is all from preggo land.

No baby news today just our feline baby

I caught Louie taken a nap in his favorite position. He begged me to put the onesie on him but I said no, cause it's for the baby. I just laid it on him so he could see what it would look like. I don't think it would fit him anyway. The pictures are below. We will post new belly pics soon, cause it's growing : ) . Sonogram next week.

Bellies and Beards

Good Morning,
Today are belly pictures and beard pictures. We have a picture of the beard before it had reached full potential and we have a recent picture before the beard is trimmed. Enjoy!

So we might be about 7 weeks right now. That's a close up of Jeremy's just so I'm not lonely.

This is the beginning of the beard, look how far he has come.

Thats all for right now. I have to go talk to a popsicle and maybe a bacon cheeseburger later.

Breaking News: Showed the post to the husband and we are totally going to Sonic tonight. Who's coming with us?

blueberries, strawberries,and lima beans

Welcome, to our first blog post!

We have not told everyone yet about our small piece of produce in my belly, but I'm not feeling well today and can not really move much so I decided to start the blog.

From what we have read and heard the baby is around the size of one of these:

We have to wait about a week and a half for a sonogram and our first Dr. visit. So we will have more to say about things then. As of right now, everything seems to make me nauseaus and it's not that fun. But we are as happy as we can be, and are having fun telling all the family.
